Faizah Malik
For years Faizah Malik has defended renters and affordable housing as Managing Attorney for Housing Justice at Public Counsel. She will champion safe streets, bike lanes, bus lanes, and protecting at risk road users. She understands how vital it is to build more housing, especially on the job-rich-housing-poor westside. Kenenth Mejia
Kenneth Mejia has been a tireless watchdog since being elected in 2022. His team has released public dashboards and audits looking at a wide range of topics like capital projects, public bathrooms, and the city’s climate readiness. The controller’s office was the first to forecast a budget deficit, which the Mayor’s office dismissed before trying to cut thousands of City jobs. Learn more here.

Marissa Roy
City Attorney is one of the most quietly powerful roles in City government. The current attorney has used taxpayer dollars to fight voter mandated HLA safe street projects, state housing laws like SB79, and affordable housing projects like Venice Dell. Marissa Roy would be an antidote, using her years of experience attorney for the County and State to fight for all Angelenos, not just NIMBYs. Her questionnaire answers show a clear commitment to delivering fiscal responsibility, fixing infrastructure instead of paying out injury settlements, and using the City’s legal powers to force Metro to follow HLA. Katy Yaroslavsky
Councilmember Yaroslavsky has been a close ally over the last four years, from endorsing Measure HLA to fighting against budget cuts as Budget Chair that would have decimated our streets and sidewalks. We are looking forward to four more years under her leadership. Learn more at katyforla.com.
Eunisses Hernandez
Eunisses Hernandez has been a passionate champion for all mobility needs. She is leading a bold initiate to reconnect MacArthur Park by closing part of Wilshire Blvd, and chairs the City Committee on Public Works. Learn more at eunissesforthepeople.com.
Hugo Soto Martinez
Hugo Soto-Martinez has been one of our closest allies on the city council since his election in 2022; under his leadership, CD-13 got its first protected bike lane on Hollywood Bl, and the longest in the city (outside of the valley). Additionally, he has steadfastly supported Measure HLA and bus lanes in the district. Learn more at hugo2026.com
