Connecting the Creeks

Connecting the Creeks is a concept to use existing right of way along the Sepulveda and Centinela Creeks to expand the all-ages bike and walk facilities that feed into Ballona Creek. The project would create 6 miles of safe new north-south connections for people biking, walking, and rolling around West LA.

The majority of the paths would run along existing unpaved maintenance roads and be bridged by short street running segments. With some traffic signals, paving, lighting, and minor improvements, creek space can become people space!
