Safe street design has become a political lightning rod in West Hollywood. Common sense improvements along Fountain Ave to widen sidewalks, improve ADA accessibility, and protect cyclists have become issues to campaign for or against. Zooming out, efforts to accelerate critical regional transportation solutions like K Line North could also be put at risk with the wrong council members in office. We are proud to endorse Chelsea, Helen, and Stephen for City Council. Three candidates who show strong conviction for safe, multimodal streets both in their answers and in previous advocacy.
