Culver City is home to some of the most forward thinking mobility projects in LA County, but that also puts a target on the backs of electeds who support progressive street design. In 2022, a Council election loss led to the watering down of Move Culver City due to traffic concerns, despite it improving safety and increasing small business revenue.

Thomas Small and Freddy Puza are both current or previous Culver City Council Members (and Mayors!) who know how to walk the walk. They support progressive street design, pedestrian and bike safety, transit priority, and making sure residents have plenty of ways to move around.
